Indicia - automatic confirmation tag

by AndyAmphlett » Tue Dec 10, 2019 12:16 pm

Hi Tom,

Re. Indicia records tagged as "Confirmed, considered correct using automated checks (Indicia): Accepted based on automatic checks"

I assume records already marked as 'Confirmed' from Indicia have been checked using a set or rules within iRecord? I have been through Indicia records from vcs 94,96 and 108, and several records tagged as 'Confirmed' I have now marked as rejected or need checking (with VCR input for vc108). While I can imagine that some records might be accepted by an automatic rule based system, some of the records are much more obviously suspect. Records now tagged as rejected or needs checking can be viewed via this query - https://database.bsbi.org/search.php#re ... cc42d5068c. Especially odd are the records of Cirsium dissectum which were tagged as 'Confirmed' that (if correct) would have been the first for north Scotland; (they are errors). I wonder if the iRecord validation rules could be checked to see what went wrong here? Other records marked as needs checking are first records for the hectad, but lack supporting evidence. Again, it seems odd that a rule based system would not have queried these.

Andy.

Hi Andy,

Thanks very much for highlighting this. I've posted an issue on iRecord's bug tracker:
